– Chris Cardamone –

Chris is the subject of this article; he worked as a senior producer on the TLC show for 134 episodes between 2007 and 2010. In 2008, he was accused of molesting and served only 73 days in prison for a child sex crime.

The Story

When Chris worked on the show, Jacob was between the ages of 10 and 13 years old.

Chris was arrested for child sex offenses on October 20, 2008, in Santa Clara, California while working on the Oregon-based show, The Sun can exclusively reveal.

The Santa Clara Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer informed The Sun, “In September 2008, Sheriff’s deputies and detectives conducted a child molestation investigation.”

“The suspect, Christopher Cardamone, was eventually apprehended and put into San Jose’s Main Jail for felony indecent and lascivious actions with a juvenile.”

Chris was charged with two charges of lewd and lascivious activities with a kid under 14 with force, two counts of lewd and lascivious acts on a child under 14

One case of cruelty to a child with potential damage or death, according to court documents acquired by The Sun. On November 12, 2008, he was released on a $200,000 bond.

He Pled Not Guilty

He pled not guilty to the accusations against him on May 26, 2009.

Then, on December 7, 2010, Chris accepted a plea deal and was convicted of cruelty to a child with the possibility of damage or death, according to court documents.

He received 73 days in prison and four years of supervised probation.

Instagram

In December, Jacob posted on Instagram about the “traumatic recollection,” saying, “It is often a lot simpler to think about things than it is to talk about them.”

“As a result, this disclosure has been delayed, but it has provided me with the fortitude and words.”

“As a child, after what I now recognize was a long grooming process, I was assaulted by Chris Cardamone, an executive field producer for Little People, Big World,” Jacob claimed.

The activist went on to say that he hopes Chris “never has to be near children again.”

“By sharing this, I may be better understood, and my position on matters like child sexual assault, child exploitation, and the collateral consequences of reality television may be perceived more clearly,” he concluded.

“There is no intrinsic causal connection between reality television production and childhood trauma,” Jacob continued.

“We are still running ahead with the enterprise deaf, dumb, and blind, asking for forgiveness later, rather than asking ourselves harder preliminary questions.”

“The gains were certainly sweet. The actual experience was more difficult.”

The Roloff Family

The youngest Roloff family member, who is married to his wife Isabel Rock, then stated unequivocally that his parents, Matt and Amy, are not to fault for the alleged occurrence.

“It must finally be highlighted that all guilt is with the predator and no culpability is with any of my family members,” he stated.

“I am confident that this is a positive turning point in my life and another step toward a brighter future.”

TLC sent a statement to Us Weekly about the alleged assault, saying, “TLC was just notified about an alleged interaction that occurred years ago involving a third party related to the production of Little People, Big World.”

We are saddened and concerned by this serious allegation, and TLC will cooperate with authorities. Our main priority continues to assist the Roloff family at this terrible time.”

After three years of working on the Oregon-based show, producer Chris has yet to respond to Jacob’s charges.

Little People, Big World

In 2000, the TV employee began his work as a segment producer on Big Brother for one season before moving on to become a field producer on Parking Wars and Fast N’ Loud.

Chris, on the other hand, appears to have abruptly quit the industry in 2014 and has not worked on a project since. Jacob hasn’t featured on Little People, Big World in years and has previously criticized the show.

On social media, he wrote: “I often get comments on here about how people miss me on the program’ or that I should ‘do a few more episodes with the family; I’m writing this to say that will never happen.

“I’ve sensed and noticed through the years that the ‘staff’ is out to keep their job and the ratings, which is up to you to be right or wrong about.
