Bill Burr’s childhood is partially based on F is for Family. The plot revolves around a family in the early 1970s.
In this animated series, Frank X, a disillusioned, foul-mouthed Korean War soldier, raises a family. Frank, together with his wife Susan and their three children, endures some difficult challenges at work.
They disagree on whether to have children (with Susan believing that it would be better for the world); there is also the problem of what happens when her business begins and interferes with family life.
