The new legendary Pokémon Yveltal has been made available in Pokémon Go as part of the Luminous Legends Y event.
You can try your hand at taking it down by looking for it in the five star raids that are springing up all over the place.
To defeat it, we advise bringing some companions. Although you won’t be able to catch its shiny version, this Pokémon is very good, and we’ve outlined the ideal moveset to teach it.

Timed Research Quest Steps & Rewards for Luminous Legends Y
The Luminous Legends Y timed research tasks are broken down into a total of seven steps, with three tasks in each step.

Win 15 Poke Balls by defeating 5 Team Go Rocker Grunts.
Catch 5 Shadow Pokemon and come across Meowth.
Catch 5 Dark-type Pokemon and come across a Rattata.
1000 XP and a stinky encounter are the prizes.
Step 2 of Luminous Legends
3 Shadow Pokemon purified with 5 Hyper Potions
Purify 3 Revives and 5 Shadow Pokemon
Purify 1 Mysterious Component and 7 Shadow Pokemon.
2000 XP and an Alolan Rattata encounter are the rewards.
Step 3 of Luminous Legends
Win 2000 XP by defeating Team Go Rocket Leader Arlo.
Win 2000 XP by defeating Team Go Rocket Leader Cliff.
Win a 2000 XP game against Team Go Rocket Leader Sierra.
Rewards: 2000 XP and a meeting with Murkrow
Step 4 of Luminous Legends
Purify 1 Mossy Lure Module and 8 Shadow Pokemon.
Pokemon Evolve 8 – Eevee encounter
Gain 1 Glacial Lure Module for 8 hearts with your buddy.
3000 XP and a Mightyena encounter as rewards
Step 5 of Luminous Legends
Defeat 7 Pinap Berries and 8 Team Go Rocket Grunts.
Use a Zigzagoon – Incense encounter.
Catch 20 Pokemon of the Dark type and one Glacial Lure Module.
3000 XP and a Meowth encounter are the prizes.
Step 6 in Luminous Legends
Complete 10 Great Balls and 7 Field Research Tasks.
Win one raid, then face the Houndoom.
Catch five distinct Dark-type Pokemon for a Grimer encounter.
4000 XP and an Absol encounter as rewards
Step 7 of Luminous Legends
10 Shadow Pokemon purified for 1 Poffin
three victories over a Team Go Rocket leader in a Zigzagoon encounter
Catch 12 Shadow Pokemon and come across a Larvitar.
5000 Stardust and a Deino encounter are the prizes.
Pokémon Go Luminous Legends Y Event?
The Pokémon Y mascot, Yveltal, was unveiled during the Luminous Legends Y event.
For two weeks, the legendary Dark type Pokémon called The Destruction will be accessible in Five Star Raids.
In addition to a few Pokémon from the Luminous Legends X event, Eevee, whose Fairy type Eeveelution, Sylveon, will also be making its Pokémon Go debut in the second half of the event, joins Yveltal in the battle.
