In Pokemon Go, How do You Prepare for Munna Spotlight Hour?

Because the Spotlight Hours are only 60 minutes long, there are a few things you can do to prepare so you don’t waste any time:

Check that you have enough Poke Balls to catch all the Spotlight Hour Pokemon.

Make sure you have enough Berries to get double Candy or to help you catch it.

Make room in your Pokemon Storage Box for all the Pokemon you’ll catch. Gather your PokeCoins and buy an Incense for the event.

Along with these tips, Spotlight Hours is an excellent opportunity to use any extra items, such as Lucky Eggs or Star Pieces, to boost your XP during the event.

Spawn Rate During the Spotlight Hour & Shiny Rate

During these events, the spawn rate of each Spotlight Hour Pokemon is increased for 60 minutes, giving you plenty of chances to catch each species, especially if you’re using Incense and Lures.

As a result, the spawn rate of each Shiny variant is increased. Many trainers use Spotlight Hours to supplement their Shiny collection, and now is your chance to do the same!

This will be especially useful now that Niantic has added new Pokedex classifications to show off your Shiny, Lucky, Event, and other Pokemon variants.
