Pokimane’s Hot Tub Stream Hits 100K Viewers as OfflineTV Bottles Bath Water

OfflineTV came together to celebrate Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys’ birthday on Twitch with their first ever hot tub stream, which apparently broke a viewership record.

Pokimane’s Birthday

On May 14, the streamer celebrated her 25th birthday in a jacuzzi with her friends.

However, unlike other streams of this type, the majority of those involved remained fully clothed.

Pokimane, on the other hand, wore a shirt with a bikini print on both the front and back.

The ‘hot tub meta’ has certainly caused a stir in the Twitch community this year, with Amouranth, Pokimane, and a slew of other high-profile personalities weighing in.

However, as a onetime experiment, the content creation team came together to give it a shot – and were rewarded with an insane number of viewers.

They announced that over 100,000 people were watching the celebration at one point, which is the most any Twitch channel has achieved for a hot tub stream in particular.

There were many highlights during the broadcast, such as Dababy appearing in the chat to wish her a happy birthday in the chat and names being written on bodies, but one of the most wholesome was the group bringing a cake into the water.

The Gamer Girl Sold the Bathwater

To pay homage to the famous incident in which a streamer sold ‘gamer girl’ bathwater, OTV decided to bottle their own at one point. They will not, however, sell it.

“Wait a minute, look at that. “This is some good OTV hot tub water,” Scarra said before handing Poki a mason jar full of it.

“Thank you, Scott, for our own bath water, or hot tub water?” she replied.

Scarra Reacts to the Hot Tub Stream in Pokimane

Scarra appeared dressed as one of Pokemon’s Eeveelutions, Umbreon. He confirmed after the stream that it was the last of its kind he would be involved in.

He tweeted: “And that’s the last hot tub stream I’m ever doing.”

The hot tub meta has been raging on Twitch since 2021, and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.

Streamers, big and small, are seeing increased viewership and growth by hosting their broadcasts in jacuzzis, and this will continue as long as they are permitted to do so.
