Warzone Devs Instantly Nerf DMR After Surprise Season 5 Reloaded Buffs
The Warzone Season 5 Reloaded patch notes included a DMR buff, which was expected to reintroduce the once-famous tactical rifle into the meta.

Season 5 Reloaded has officially arrived in the world of Call of Duty: Warzone, bringing with it a slew of new changes, including a slew of major weapon buffs and nerfs.
The DMR Black Ops Cold War tactical Rifle, which dominated the Call of Duty battle royale at the start of the Cold War cycle, was one of the weapons affected by the Warzone Season 5 Reloaded weapon balancing.
As soon as the new patch was released, the Repullze’s clip, an SMG version of the DMR, was jumped on.
Streamers, like the pre-nerf Type 63 secondary, transformed the thing into a lethal close-range beast.
The devs revealed in the updated patch notes that the DMR’s neck and upper torso multipliers have been reduced from 1.1 to 1.0.
These modifications are expected to reduce the gun’s recoil to a more manageable level while maintaining the recoil change
