There are new shadow Pokemon and a slew of new Pokemon types, which means a slew of new phrases to learn. Check out my cute Pokemon

The Pokemon you’ll encounter will all be Fairy-type, in keeping with the Luminous Legends events.

The Snubbull family consists entirely of Fairy types, whereas the Ralts family consists of two Psychic/Fairy types.

This makes things relatively simple, as the entire squad is vulnerable to Poison and Steel-type attacks.

However, low-level Pokemon and/or Dragon-types should be avoided.

Pokestops are the heart of the Pokemon Go world, so it’s no surprise that the Team Rocket Invasion begins with them rebranding some of them as Team Rocket Pokestops or Rocket Stops for short.

Fairy-Type Pokemon

Fairy-type Pokemon are immune to Dragon-type attacks, giving them a double defense in Pokemon GO.

In this battle, you may encounter two families of Pokemon: Snubbull and its evolution Granbull, and Ralts and its evolution Kirlia.

The Snubbull family consists entirely of Fairy types, whereas the Ralts family consists of two Psychic/Fairy types.

This makes things relatively simple, as the entire squad is vulnerable to Poison and Steel-type attacks.

Dragon-types are vulnerable to Fairy-type moves, so they are a poor choice (save for Dialga).

Fairy-type moves are also weak to Dark and Fighting types, so avoid bringing those in as well.

First Slot – Snubbull
Second Slot – Snubbull or Granbull
Third Slot – Granbull
